Physical Education (PE)
The new dance/PE program is intended to encourage students to be physically and mentally active. Students will focus on seven key areas of physical discipline: rhythm, balance, coordination, endurance, flexibility, strength, and concentration.
The visual and integrated arts program is intended to teach students to recognize and use arts as a form of creativity and communication; to know and apply elements of art and expressive features, and help students relate art to various historical and cultural traditions
In the music classroom, students learn music through a variety of ways: singing, playing instruments, moving, writing, and listening. Students have fun while learning important musical characteristics. All students K-5 are welcome to join Chorus! Chorus meets from 3:15 to 3:45 on Tuesdays.
Thank you for supporting the music program. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Charles with any questions at email@example.com.

Integrating technology into everyday learning will help students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex, highly technological knowledge-based society. At Cheltenham, aside from the school computer lab, also available for all grades ECE-5 are chromebooks, iPads, digital cameras, and Promethean boards. All classes are encouraged to utilize these tools for research, typing, projects, virtual learning experiences, and so much more. With technology, the learning possibilities are endless!
